After the success of Persona 3 Reload, JRPG masters Atlus are back with Persona 4 Revival, a full remake of one of the series’ most important games. At gamescom 2026 we spoke with Kazuhisa Wada, general producer for the Persona team, Akane Kabayashi, art director on P4R, and interpreter Gavin Greene, and discovered their favorite in-game romances.
Additionally, we learn more about the studio’s approach to reviving a beloved classic, from adding brand new combat systems to refreshing character designs in a way that honors the original versions.
Persona 4 Revival launches February 18, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam).

We got hands-on time with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction, the 90s-inspired beat ’em up from Bitmap Bureau, which has the promise of finally giving us a good He-Man game!
Bitmap Bureau previously made Terminator 2D: No Fate, and their follow-up is equally in service of a loyal fan base, finally giving us a He-Man game that the fans of Masters of the Universe have deserved for years.
