We’re rapidly approaching three years since the world got its first look at Exodus. A lot has happened in the world since 2023 – many games have come and gone in the span between. It would be fair to question if Exodus has kept pace with the movements of the market.

Happily, all this time has gone to good use. Developer Archetype Entertainment, backed by legendary tabletop game publisher Wizards of the Coast, are now on the downhill run on this science fiction sprawler and it’s finally time to wrap our mitts around a gamepad and get stuck in. Archetype is rightly avoiding Grand Theft of Your Time in November and touching down on April 7, 2027 instead, so now’s the perfect time for a progress check-in.

Andrew Garfield stars as the leader of a ferocious rebellion against the tyranny of King Richard II. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon series stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride as Daryl and Carol in this new season set in Spain. Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue, The West Wing) joins the cast in the new season. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premieres on AMC and AMC+ in 2027.

In the final season, while crossing the ravaged badlands of Spain, Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (McBride) grasp onto hope – and each other – as uncertainty about their future grows. Smits plays “Captain Alejandro Perkins,” a former U.S. Navy officer and medical doctor who found a unique way to thrive during the apocalypse.
