What happens when a young and curious filmmaker challenges his creativity with the limitless possibilities of a fake A.I.? A surprising mix of various stories, from new and old times, about the original myth of Dracula: a vampire hunt, zombies and Dracula crashing a strike, a science-fiction tale aboutVlad the Impaler’s return, an adaptation of the first Romanian vampires novella, a tragic romance, a vulgar folktale, A.I. generated kitsch stories… and much more.
The Romanian film stars Adonis Tanța, Oana Maria Zaharia, Gabriel Spahiu, Ilinca Manolache, Alexandru Dabija, Andrada Balea, Doru Talos, Serban Pavlu, Lukas Miko, and Alexandra Harapu.
Written and directed by Radu Jude.
Tron: Ares is just the 3rd feature film in the franchise that goes back to the groundbreaking 1982 original.
This installment starring Jared Leto, Evan Peters and Greta Lee (and a little bit of Jeff Bridges), aims for the nostalgic hit of honoring the first Tron while also disregarding a lot of what happened in Tron: Legacy as well. But is an incredible Nine Inch Nails soundtrack from Academy Award winning rock legend Trent Reznor enough to elevate an otherwise stale movie? Maybe Kevin Flynn knows! Check out our Tron: Ares Review to find out!

Yooka-Replaylee reviewed by Travis Northup on PC and PlayStation 5, also available on Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
Yooka-Replaylee aims to overhaul a platformer that was rife with frustrating issues, and while it does feel better for it, none of its changes do enough to bring it close to the 3D platforming standards of today. Improvements to the movement of both your camera and character, the upgraded graphics, and the removal of unnecessary annoyances like having to unlock abilities over time are all fantastic changes. But all of the bending that was done to modernize this thing has resulted in an almost equal number of drawbacks, like a story that has been unsatisfyingly chopped up and a search for Pagies that feels a bit too easy given how many are now crammed into each area. So unless your nostalgia for this kind of 3D platformer is particularly strong, there aren’t a ton of compelling reasons to revisit this one.
