🔴LIVE! im sick. SOUL LINK NUZLOCKE TOURNy WITH MIYOUNG part 4! (also live on twitch)
A **Pokémon Soul Link** is a cooperative two-player (or multi-player) variant of the Nuzlocke challenge where partners have their encounters, active parties, and fates bound together.
**Soul Link Mechanics**
**Linked Encounters**: The first Pokémon caught by each player on a specific route are permanently “linked” as partners (e.g., your Route 1 catch is tied to your partner’s Route 1 catch).
**Shared Fate**: If one player’s Pokémon faints in battle, its linked partner on the other player’s team is also considered dead and must be boxed or released immediately.
**PC and Party Sync**: If one player puts a linked Pokémon into the PC storage box, the other player must also box its partner. Furthermore, a linked Pokémon can only be in a player’s active party if its partner is also in the other player’s active party.
**Missed Catches**: If one player fails to catch their encounter (because it fainted, fled, or they ran out of PokéBalls), the other player must also forfeit or release their catch from that route.
