In the chaos of post-Soviet Russia, rising KGB officer Vladimir Putin (Jude Law) joins forces with master manipulator Vadim Baranov (Paul Dano) to reshape life behind the Iron Curtain, using violence and deception to change the world forever. Putin and Baranov’s reign of chaos begins with lies and corruption, and quickly escalates to assassinations, tyranny, and eventually all-out war.

The screenplay for The Wizard of the Kremlin is by Olivier Assayas and Emmanuel Carrère. It is based on the fictionalized novel Le Mage du Kremlin by Giuliano da Empoli, © Editions Gallimard, 2022. The film is produced by Olivier Delbosc for Curiosa Films and Sidonie Dumas for Gaumont. It is co-produced by France 2 Cinéma. Alexandra Abrams, Justin Ardalan-Raikes, Sylvie Barthet, Niraj Bhatia, Lee Broda, Patrick Doherty, Max Kondziolka, Stuart Manashil, Joel Michaely, Michael Paletta, Thomas Pierce, Jeff Rice, Dean Sansovich, Theodore Shivdasani, Hugh Strange, and Scott Weber serve as executive producers.

The Wizard of the Kremlin, directed by Olivier Assayas, opens in North American theaters on May 15, 2026.

Watch the teaser trailer for Colony, an upcoming horror film starring Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rock, and Go Soo.

Colony follows Professor Se-jeong as she is thrust into a terrifying hellscape when a mutating virus is unleashed during a biotech conference, forcing authorities to seal the facility to contain the outbreak. Unable to escape, Se-jeong and a group of survivors must fight to stay alive as the infected undergo horrific transformations and threaten to spread the virus.

Colony, directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan), is coming to theaters in August 2026.

Watch the Recon Shell Cinematic Trailer for Marathon, the hit first-person extraction shooter developed by Bungie. Players can get a taste of the Recon Shell with a kit that’s able to detect enemy footsteps, locate enemies on the HUD, and deploy a spider tracking drone that explodes on contact. Check out the Operation Augur Overview Trailer for Battlefield 6, the latest addition to the first-person multiplayer shooter developed by DICE, Battlefield Studios, and EA. Players can get the rundown on Operation Augur, which makes the two Season 2 maps, Contaminated and Hagental Base, with the classic Operations mode. Attackers fight for key objectives on the map while Defenders do whatever it takes to fend off the Attackers’ advancements. Start the match in the wide-open Contaminated and end up in Hagental Base for close-quarters combat. Operation Augur launches on April 14 in Battlefield 6 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

At the dawn of the 20th century, Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show rolls into Italy, peddling the myth of the American frontier and sparking the imagination of Rosa, a young woman trapped in a stifling marriage to a powerful and violent land owner.

When a rodeo between American cowboys and Italian butteri ends in tragedy, Rosa flees with Santino, the daring local rider who bested the Americans. But in a world where justice is sold to the highest bidder, Buffalo Bill and others join the hunt for the bounty on Santino’s head.

Rosa’s dream of freedom quickly collides with the weight of reality — and like in every good Western ballad, fate flips a coin.

The film stars Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Alessandro Borghi, John C. Reilly, Peter Lanzani, Mirko Artuso, Gabrielle Silli, and Gianni Garko. It is directed by Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis. 

Heads or Tails is now available in U.S. theaters and on digital.

I know it’s a bit cliche to say at this point, but it certainly applies here: Pragmata is a video game-ass video game. Its old-school approach to level design and pacing provide a decent foundation for what it does best: heavy, satisfying shooting and a unique real-time puzzle system that deepens its action. It’s not exactly concerned with being a storytelling powerhouse alongside that, however, and it can be a little disappointing to see the untapped potential as it relies on worn tropes even if its duo can be charming at times. But Capcom focused on the best lessons of the action side of modern Resident Evil games and matched that with a fresh hacking mechanic we haven’t really seen before – and even with some small frustrations, that combo was so good that I naturally wanted to keep playing past the credits to complete every leftover challenge. Pragmata’s hack-and-shoot formula absolutely rules, and I hope Capcom builds on those ideas in the future.
