Jared Leto’s 40-Year Journey to Tron: Ares Started in an Arcade

Tron and video games have always gone hand-in-hand: after all, the entire story kicked off when Kevin Flynn entered The Grid to prove he’d designed the wildly successful Space Paranoids game for Encom. In that spirit, IGN sat down with the cast of Tron: Ares to learn more about their earliest gaming memories, their experience bringing The Grid into “our” reality, and whether future Tron movies should maintain Ares’ ratio of action which takes place in the real world versus the computer.

2XKO Early Access Review

With 2XKO, Riot Games has found a way to distill what’s fun about tag fighters while mitigating a lot of pain points that come along with the territory. The result is a game that’s easy to pick up, extremely challenging to master, fun at all skill levels of play, and one that sets the framework for a very promising future, despite being fairly slim in this early access launch.

Elon Musk Says He’ll Release a ‘Great’ AI-Generated Game… Next Year – IGN Daily Fix

In today’s Daily Fix:
Elon Musk has set an ambitious goal for his xAI Studio to make a “great” AI-generated game by the end of next year. xAI is the Musk-owned company behind Grok, the chatbot built into X (formerly Twitter). AI-generated games are nothing new, but so far they’ve been limited in scope. Game industry experts, such as Epic’s Tim Sweeney, are bullish on the technology, claiming that eventually AI prompts can be used to make games in the scope of Nintendo’s Zelda games. Speaking of Nintendo, the company dropped an animated short film today, featuring a baby chasing after a pacifier. It doesn’t seem to be connected to any exisiting Nintendo IP, so it’s a bit of a mystery as to why it was even made. And finally, the Predator is returning to Call of Duty as part of Black Ops 6’s “The Haunting” seasonal event. This coincides with the release of the latest Predator, Predator: Badlands, which recently earned a PG-13 rating.
