A violent, reckless samurai is shipwrecked on a desolate island, stripped of any outlet for his rage. As he embarks on a punishing spiritual journey to quiet his turbulent mind, the line between meditation and madness begins to blur. When external demons—manifesting as flesh-hungry cannibals—abduct him, his grip on reality and mastery of the blade are tested in ways he never imagined.

The cast includes Shogen, Keigo Sunagawa, Yuma Sunagawa, and Sumire Ashina.

The film is written, directed and produced by Josh C. Waller. Well Go USA will release Lone Samurai in select theaters and available via Video On Demand on December 12, 2025.

Sony has a long history of bizarre marketing for PlayStation, with some of the most memorable being David Lynch’s nightmarish PS2 commercials. The latest PlayStation ad campaign leans on the slogan “It Happens on PS5,” but then proceeds to show off people in extraordinary situations that we can’t recall ever actually… happening in PS5 games? Still, it’s a fun way of selling the escapism of gaming, and as weird as it is, it’s a lot less confusing than Xbox’s current habit of saying everything is an Xbox, including Xboxes, but also a bunch of stuff that isn’t an Xbox.

Two iconic Konami characters are coming to Dead by Daylight. Watch the latest Dead by Daylight trailer for the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game to see what’s coming with the 2v8 game mode, which features Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head and Castlevania’s Dracula for a limited time. Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head and Castlevania’s Dracula–known within The Fog as The Executioner and The Dark Lord–arrive in the 2v8 Trials, as they will hunt side by side during the event, which runs from November 6 through November 20, 2025.

The event grants all players entering the 2v8 queue access to four free characters for the duration of its run. Silent Hill survivor Cheryl Mason and Castlevania’s legendary vampire hunter Trevor Belmont also join, each unlocked and available for all to play throughout the event.

The Dead by Daylight’s 2v8 update also introduces 4 new Outfits inspired by Konami’s legendary characters, including a Legendary Outfit for Trevor Belmont that brings his descendant, the powerful Richter Belmont into the Trials, The Dark Lord gets a Very Rare Scorched Terror Outfit, Cheryl Mason gets a Very Rare Awakened Order Outfit, while The Executioner receives the Very Rare Flayed Torturer Outfit.
