Stranded Deep 2 – Official Announcement Teaser Trailer

Take a look at the Stranded Deep 2 announcement teaser trailer for this upcoming survival sandbox sequel game. Standed Deep 2 will be available on PC.

In Stranded Deep 2, the survival sandbox expands into an unforgiving desert wilderness. Rather than being stranded in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, players must now survive within a harsh landscape shaped by scorching heat, winding rivers, towering canyons and deadly wildlife, with a whole new world of biomes to explore and resources to discover. But the desert is only the beginning.

Stranded Deep 2 is a frontier exploration survival game. Players start as survivors, grow into explorers, and gradually discover that there is far more to the world than simply staying alive. At the heart of the experience is an endless river world, carving through canyons, dunes and valleys and providing a lifeline into a vast wilderness filled with danger and discovery.

Onslaught Review

Ain’t no two ways about it: Onslaught rips. Adam Wingard throws a collection of action and B-movie genre influences into a blender, pushes that concoction across the table, and encourages you to chug. Adria Arjona gets a well-deserved action hero moment, going up against a trio of very cool super-soldiers and a shadowy team of fascist freaks with the help of a great supporting cast. IGN’s Tom Jorgensen explains why down-and-dirty action, simple-yet-effective emotional stakes, and an unwavering commitment to fun and the rule of cool make Onslaught an easy recommendation.

Onslaught is in theaters September 4th.

The Blood of Dawnwalker Review

The Blood of Dawnwalker reviewed by Travis Northup on PlayStation 5, also available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.

“The Blood of Dawnwalker is my new favorite vampire game and one of the best story-driven RPGs I’ve played in a long time. The day/night cycle that has you juggling human and vampiric forms is awesome, and the constraints placed on how you spend your limited time ends up being one of the coolest, most wonderfully stressful parts of the adventure. Combat has a bit of a learning curve to it, but gets under your skin in all the right ways once you get the hang of it. Combine that with a story filled with memorable characters, gut wrenching decisions, and more endings than I’m ever likely to see, and this adventure kept me firmly in its thrall. Even if you aren’t particularly into the vampire fantasy, this is one that any RPG fan should absolutely not miss.”

Onimusha: Way of the Sword Review

Onimusha: Way of the Sword reviewed by Will Borger on PS5, also available on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and Switch 2.

“It’s a testament to Onimusha: Way of the Sword’s combat that I could beat it without using some of the systems designed to help you progress – not because you don’t need them, but because it leaves room for you to truly understand its action and overcome their absence through sheer determination. Even if I hadn’t intentionally made things harder for myself, though, I still would have loved spending time with the charismatic denizens of this world, all of whom are as well acted as they are animated. I still would have thought that Musashi himself was one of the coolest, most interesting protagonists in any video game, and I would have loved going on this journey with him. I still would have savored the creative fights against dozens of impressive bosses. My journey reflected Musashi’s, and Onimusha made that possible. The best part of life is the challenge. You have to learn to love the fight.”
